Arkarra Lagoons, meaning "place of many ducks," is a serene 14.27-hectare freshwater wetland reserve in Dundowran Beach, Queensland. Established in 2006 to protect its environmental significance, the reserve features natural and constructed lagoons surrounded by Melaleuca and Eucalypt forests. It is one of the last remnants of littoral vine forest in the Fraser Coast region. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walking trails, diverse birdwatching opportunities, and a picnic shelter overlooking the lagoons. The adjacent Arkarra Tea Gardens café offers a relaxing spot to enjoy meals and beverages amidst the natural beauty.
