Designed in the Moderne style by architect Rhys Hopkins, it was one of the largest purpose-built cinemas in rural Victoria, originally seating 1,000 patrons. Over the years, the cinema has undergone several renovations, including the addition of two extra screens within the former dress circle and upper foyer. Today, it operates as a three-screen theater, offering a unique cinematic experience in a heritage-listed building.
