It offers picturesque views of the Perth skyline and surrounding suburbs. The jetty is a popular spot for fishing, with species such as black bream, flathead, and tailor commonly caught. Adjacent to the jetty, Jeff Joseph Reserve provides expansive grassed areas, a playground, and picnic facilities, making it ideal for family outings. Parking is available at the end of Ardross Street and along The Strand.
