Apartment 26 is an opulent Parisian salon in the heart of Melbourne's design and fashion precinct. There is nothing that will prepare you for the experience behind the standard-issued industrial door, marked "26". Behind it lies the world of Anton Venoir Interiors. A private salon, where guests are invited to enjoy the elegance and luxury of the latest acquisitions and collections. The effect of perfect pieces, which have been lost in time, arranged by Tony & Stella Venios is breath taking. From a Louis XV period Duchess en Bateau (Chaise lounge) acquired from a French Chateau in the Loire Valley, to a museum documented, 17th century ‘Royal Aubusson’ tapestry, by Isaac MOILLON (1614 -1673) ’The Banquet of Dido and Aeneas’ commissioned under Louis XIV. A collection of 18th century French Clocks spanning from Louis XIV period in 1690, to Louis XVI period 1790, take us back to a time of opulence and exquisite taste in food, wine, art and culture.
