Angledool is a small locality in upper western New South Wales, approximately 45 kilometers north of Lightning Ridge. Established in the 1870s, it was originally known as New Angledool. The area is historically significant, with several buildings over 120 years old, including a town hall constructed from locally made mud bricks. The nearby Narran River has led to flooding in the area, notably in 1956, which was the largest recorded flood. Today, Angledool has a population of 58 people.
