A wheelchair-accessible boardwalk meanders through the shaded riparian forest, leading to the creek's edge. The area is abundant with local wildlife, including kookaburras, flycatchers, honeyeaters, cuckoo-shrikes, jungle perch, and wallabies. Access is via Alligator Creek Road, approximately 25 km south of Townsville on the Bruce Highway.
