Established in May 2001, it offers a range of services and programs designed to assist individuals and families. The centre provides access to information on health, welfare, legal, financial, and employment matters, fostering a safe and welcoming environment for those who are socially and economically isolated. Amenities include meeting spaces, social and support groups such as Women's Group, Garden Group, Patchwork Quilting, Gentle Exercise Class, Line Dancing, Mind Body and Soul Pilates, after-school activities for young people aged 8 to 14, a breakfast program for school-aged children, food assistance, and payment assistance programs. The centre also offers volunteering opportunities, allowing community members to contribute to its mission. Operating Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, the centre is accessible to all, with facilities designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
