Located approximately 16 kilometers east of Macarthur, between Hamilton and Warrnambool in southwestern Victoria, the Macarthur Wind Farm spans about 5,500 hectares of agricultural land. This expansive site is home to 140 Vestas V112-3.0MW wind turbines, collectively generating 420 MW of clean energy. Since becoming fully operational in January 2013, the wind farm has been supplying enough electricity to power approximately 167,000 average Australian homes annually. AGL Energy continues to operate and maintain the facility, ensuring its ongoing contribution to sustainable energy production.
