Afghan Women on the Move

Afghan Women on the Move (AWOTM) is a community-focused organization dedicated to empowering Afghan and multicultural women in Australia. Located at 32 Birdwood Avenue, Doonside, NSW 2767, AWOTM offers a range of programs aimed at fostering physical, mental, spiritual, and financial well-being. Their initiatives include education and empowerment programs, cultural inclusion activities, health and well-being initiatives, economic empowerment projects, and advocacy and support services. AWOTM also hosts events like the "Stitching Dreams - Connecting Women" project, which brings women together for arts and crafts activities every Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm. Additionally, they provide support for newly arrived Afghan women, assisting them in transitioning from surviving to thriving in Australia.
