Located at the University of South Australia's Mawson Lakes campus, the Adelaide Planetarium offers an immersive journey through the cosmos. Its 8-meter-high dome projects realistic simulations of the night sky, guided by experienced astronomers. Visitors recline in specially designed chairs, comfortably observing constellations, stars, and planets. The Planetarium features over 20 fulldome movies, including titles like "Starlight," "Black Holes," and "Cosmic Collisions." Regular public sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of each month, with additional programs during school holidays. The venue also offers tailored experiences for school groups, special occasions, and courses for those interested in astronomy. Parking is available on campus, with free parking on weekends.
