Located at Oaklands Road in Warradale, South Australia, 3 Field Squadron is a unit of the Royal Australian Engineers. The squadron operates from the Warradale Barracks, a facility established in the 1950s that spans approximately 23 hectares and is situated 9 kilometers southwest of Adelaide's central business district. The barracks accommodate several units, including the 9th Combat Service Support Battalion, the 10th/27th Battalion, The Royal South Australian Regiment, and the Australian Army Band – Adelaide. The area also features the Warradale Royal Australian Engineer Memorial, dedicated in 2011 to honor all Engineers who have served in the Australian Armed Forces. This memorial lists the names of three Sappers from the 3rd Field Squadron.
