Nestled in a serene bushland setting, 2nd Northmead Scout Group offers engaging programs for children aged 5 to 15. The group operates three sections: Joey Scouts (5-8 years), Cub Scouts (8-11 years), and Scouts (11-15 years), each meeting weekly during school terms. Activities include bushwalking, canoeing, and abseiling, fostering resilience and confidence. The historic hall, established in 1959, is available for hire for various events, with all proceeds supporting the group's initiatives.
