Situated along Home Point Parade in Launceston's Royal Park, the 1st Tamar Sea Scout Group offers a vibrant scouting experience for youth of all ages. The group comprises five sections: Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers, each with dedicated meeting times throughout the week. The Esk Rover Crew, established in 2010, is one of two Rover crews within the group, providing members with opportunities in traditional scouting activities, including sailing and rowing. The group celebrated its 60th anniversary in October 2023, highlighting its longstanding commitment to the community.
