1st Ferntree Gully Scout Group, established in 1926, offers a comprehensive scouting experience for youth aged 5 to 25. Meeting during school terms, the group comprises five sections: - Joey Scouts (5-7 years): Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 pm - Cub Scouts (8-10 years): Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm - Scouts (11-14 years): Thursdays, 7:00-9:00 pm - Venturer Scouts (15-17 years): Thursdays, 7:00-9:00 pm - Rover Scouts (18-25 years) The dedicated volunteer leaders foster independence and confidence, preparing members to be responsible citizens. The group actively engages in community events and offers various activities, including camping, sailing, and robotics. Parents are encouraged to participate, with opportunities to sign in and out children during meetings.
