Located at Weaners Flat Reserve off Stansbury Road in Yorketown, the Yorketown Country Fire Service (CFS) station is a dedicated volunteer brigade serving the southern Yorke Peninsula. Established in 1950, it operates under the Southern Yorke Group within Region 2. The station is equipped with a 2000L Light Pumper and a 3000L Light Pumper, both 4WD vehicles, and a Hazmat Trailer. These resources enable the brigade to respond effectively to a range of emergencies, including bushfires, structural fires, road crash rescues, and hazardous materials incidents. Training sessions are held every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, with cadet training on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
