Established in 1971, Woods Point Gun Club is a welcoming community dedicated to the sport of clay target shooting. Located at the John Wood Sports Ground, 9070 Woods Point-Mansfield Road, approximately 1 km from Woods Point, the club offers a single DTL layout and a tower, providing a friendly environment for both seasoned shooters and newcomers. Regular shoots are held on the fourth Sunday of each month, with all enthusiasts invited to participate. The club also hosts annual events, including the Mt Bogong Annual Trip and the 'Us Versus Them' Battle with the Mansfield Clay Target Club, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition.
