Woodgate Rural Fire Brigade

Established on April 21, 1971, the Woodgate Rural Fire Brigade is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to safeguarding the Woodgate community. Operating from the Woodgate Emergency Services Complex at 146 Acacia Street, the brigade shares facilities with the local First Responders and the State Emergency Service (SES). The brigade comprises approximately 45 active members who respond promptly to bushfires, ensuring the safety of residents and the environment. They also engage in community education, offering guidance on fire prevention and safety measures. The brigade welcomes new volunteers over the age of 16 to join their team and contribute to the community's well-being.
