Woodchester CFS, established in 1943, is a dedicated volunteer fire station located at 1382 Callington Road, Woodchester, South Australia. Serving the Strathalbyn Group within Region 1, it operates two primary appliances: Woodchester 24, a 4WD light pumper with a 2000-litre capacity, and Woodchester 34, a 4WD general-purpose appliance holding 3000 litres. The station responds to various emergencies, including grass and structure fires, vehicle accidents, and natural disasters. Training sessions are held every Tuesday at 7:30 pm, welcoming cadets from 11 years and older, and firefighters from 16 years.
