Wijilawarrim

Wijilawarrim, also known as Molly Springs, is a small Aboriginal community located near Kununurra in Western Australia's Kimberley region. The Miriuwung Gajerrong people, signatories to the Ord Final Agreement, oversee the community's governance through the Yawoorroong Miriuwung Gajerrong Yirrgeb Noong Dawang Aboriginal Corporation (MG Corp). The community operates under the endorsed Wijilawarrim Layout Plan No.1, which aligns with State Planning Policy 3.2 for Aboriginal Settlements. Notably, Wijilawarrim has a low crime rate, with no reported crimes per 1,000 people, indicating a safe environment for residents and visitors.
