Wambo Laydown, located on Bilboa Road in Boyneside, Queensland, is a significant logistics and storage facility serving the Wambo Wind Farm project. This facility plays a crucial role in supporting the construction and operation of the wind farm, which comprises 83 turbines across 12,500 hectares of land. The wind farm is a joint venture between Stanwell and Cubico Sustainable Investments, with construction phases underway since April 2023. The Wambo Wind Farm is expected to commence its first commercial operations in late 2025.
