Walyunga National Park

Walyunga National Park, located approximately one hour from Perth, offers a serene escape with activities like picnicking, bushwalking, canoeing, and camping. The park features native trees along the Avon River, including flooded gums, wandoo woodlands, marri, and jarrah. In spring, the woodland floor is adorned with colorful wildflowers. The area holds significant Aboriginal heritage, with one of the largest known Aboriginal campsites around Perth.
