Bremer Bay's Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services, located at 14 Margaret Street, is a dedicated team of local volunteers committed to safeguarding the community. They actively engage in bushfire prevention through controlled burns and collaborate with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services to enhance fire safety measures. The unit's proactive approach has been recognized with the Firefighting Team Achievement Award. Under the leadership of First Lieutenant Peter Buckenara, who has over 25 years of service, the team exemplifies exceptional commitment to community safety.
