Established in 1923, the Toora Fire Brigade is the oldest in the South Gippsland Group, even predating the Country Fire Authority (CFA). The brigade operates from a modern facility at 20 Gray Street, Toora, Victoria, which replaced the original station in 2009. The brigade is staffed by dedicated volunteers who provide emergency fire services and community support. They meet every Thursday night between 7 pm and 9 pm at the station, welcoming new members interested in joining the CFA.
