The grounds feature a historic J.H. Reid Pavilion, a large shearing complex, a grandstand with a renovated kitchen, and a bar area. These facilities are available for hire for private and public events, community organizations, and schools. The showgrounds also provide camping options for travelers, with hot showers and water available for a nominal fee. Pets are welcome, and a dump point is accessible for campground guests and the general public, with donations supporting the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service. Reception is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
