
Surveyors Hut serves as the first night's accommodation on the Three Capes Track, a 48-kilometer journey through Tasmania's stunning coastal landscapes. Accessible via a scenic boat cruise from Port Arthur to Denmans Cove, the track leads hikers through eucalypt forests and coastal heathlands to the hut. The hut features two separate sleeping cabins, each accommodating 24 walkers in a co-share arrangement. Each walker has their own bunk bed with a single mattress. Amenities include rainwater tanks for water supply and shared phone/tablet charging ports. Mobile reception is available at Surveyors Hut, allowing hikers to stay connected. The hut's design offers breathtaking views of Cape Raoul, providing a serene and comfortable setting to rest and rejuvenate for the next day's adventure.
