Stirling Country Fire Service (CFS), established in 1948, serves the communities of Stirling, Crafers, Crafers West, and Heathfield, with support extending to Aldgate, Bridgewater, Upper Sturt, and Piccadilly. Located at 9 Avenue Road, Stirling, the brigade responds to approximately 300 incidents annually, including structural fires and vehicle-related emergencies on major transport routes. Specializing in Road Crash Rescue and Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) response, Stirling CFS is recognized as one of the top ten stations in South Australia. The station operates a recycling depot, encouraging community participation to fund new equipment.
