Established in 1976 by Athol Carle, the SSAA (SA) Goolwa Pistol and Shooting Club is a vibrant community of over 100 members dedicated to various shooting disciplines. The club's facilities include a 25m Rapidfire Pistol Range, a 25/50m Precision Rifle Range, and an indoor Air Pistol/Rifle range. Members also participate in monthly events at the Monarto Range, offering longer distances and higher velocities. The club fosters a friendly, competitive environment across disciplines such as Centrefire, Rimfire, Precision, Standard Gun, Rapidfire, Air Pistol/Rifle, Centrefire Rifle (cast bullets only), Rimfire Rifle, Black Powder Pistol and Rifle, and Benchrest Pistol. New members are always welcome to join this dynamic and inclusive community.
