Located at 165-315 Gifkins Road, Little River VIC 3211, the SSAA Eagle Park Range offers a comprehensive shooting experience for enthusiasts of all levels. The main rifle range, open Friday through Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, accommodates calibers up to 50 BMG at distances up to 500 meters. With 100 covered and concreted benches, there's ample space for shooters. Shotgun facilities include a clay target thrower available during business hours, with clays sold in batches of 25 from $12. The five-stand range operates on Saturdays and Sundays, catering to both licensed and non-licensed shooters. Visitors can try shooting with rimfire and centrefire rifles on Saturdays, with packages starting from $72. The range also hosts various clubs and events, including the SSAA Victoria Precision Rifle Club and the Little River Raiders Single Action Shooting Club. Safety is paramount, with mandatory ear protection and high-visibility vests for certain activities. The minimum age for shooters is 12, with juniors requiring adult supervision. Vests, eye, and ear protection are available for purchase on-site.
