Established in 1991, the Batemans Bay Branch of the Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia (SSAA) is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm handling. Located at 500 Princes Hwy, Batemans Bay, NSW, the club boasts over 850 members and offers facilities for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and air rifle/pistol shooting. The indoor rifle range features 30 benches with distances up to 500m, while the pistol range accommodates 12 shooters up to 50m. Shotgun enthusiasts can enjoy five stands with single or double targets. The club welcomes visitors on practice and competition days, providing opportunities for unlicensed shooters to experience shooting sports.
