South Australian Space Industry Centre

The South Australian Space Industry Centre (SASIC) is dedicated to advancing the state's space sector by fostering innovation, research, and growth. Located at Level 4, 151 Pirie Street, Adelaide SA 5000, SASIC serves as a central hub for over 100 space-related organizations, including the Australian Space Agency. The center supports space entrepreneurs, provides an incubator for space projects, and cultivates an environment conducive to the rapid development of new space technologies. SASIC's initiatives include the Space Innovation and Growth Strategy (South Australia): Action Plan 2016-2020, which partners with national and international stakeholders to build on the state's strong space foundations. The center also established the South Australian Space Council, comprising Australia's top space industry experts, to provide strategic and policy advice and promote growth through extensive networks in space. SASIC's commitment to the state's space industry is further demonstrated through its support of programs like the Venture Catalyst Space, which assists global space startups in scaling up and entering the commercial space market.
