The Snowtown State Emergency Service (SES) Unit, located at 36 Lumeah Road, Snowtown, SA 5520, is a dedicated volunteer-based organization committed to providing emergency assistance and rescue services to the local community. Operating 24/7, the unit responds to a variety of emergencies, including extreme weather events, road crashes, and search operations. Training sessions are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm, welcoming new volunteers to join their ranks. For non-life-threatening emergencies, residents can contact the SES at 132 500.
