The Port of Albany, established in 1826, is Western Australia's oldest port, located on the north shore of Princess Royal Harbour in King George Sound. It offers four operational berths and handles a diverse range of bulk commodities, including grain, woodchips, silica sands, fertiliser, and fuel. The port is undergoing significant developments, such as the revitalisation of the historic Pilot Station and cottages into a vibrant community precinct, enhancing its cultural and eco-tourism appeal. Additionally, refurbishment works on Berths 1 and 2 aim to improve operational capacity and support increased trade.
