Pipalyatjara Airstrip serves the remote community of Pipalyatjara in South Australia's Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. Located approximately 550 kilometers southwest of Alice Springs, the airstrip features an unsealed runway suitable for day use only. The community, home to around 140-150 residents, primarily Anangu people who speak Pitjantjatjara, relies on the airstrip for essential services, including mail delivery and medical emergencies.
