Located at the Paynesville Community Center, the Paynesville Coast Guard (VF22) is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to marine safety and assistance in the Gippsland Lakes region. Operating seven days a week, they respond to approximately 80 marine incidents annually, including rescues and vessel breakdowns. The flotilla comprises 48 members, many with extensive maritime experience, and is actively involved in community education and training programs.
