Parndana CFS, located at 42 Smith Street, Parndana SA 5220, is a dedicated volunteer fire station serving the central region of Kangaroo Island. The brigade operates two primary appliances: a 4WD Isuzu FTS 139-260 Light Pumper with a 2000-litre water capacity and a 4WD Isuzu FTS750 Crew General Purpose Appliance with a 3000-litre capacity. In March 2025, the station received a new 24P appliance, enhancing its firefighting capabilities. The brigade responds to various emergencies, including bushfires, vehicle accidents, and natural disasters, ensuring the safety of the local community.
