Nug Nug Reserve, nestled in North East Victoria, offers a serene camping experience approximately 13 km south of Myrtleford on Buffalo River Road. Surrounded by the picturesque Mount Buffalo National Park, it provides ample space for tents, caravans, motorhomes, and swags. The reserve features two toilet blocks (one with disabled access), cold showers, limited powered sites, picnic tables, free electric undercover BBQs, a tennis court, a shared basketball/netball court, fireplaces, and a swimming waterhole. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Fires are permitted in compliance with campfire regulations, except on Total Fire Ban days. The reserve operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not accept bookings. It is located approximately 14 km south of Myrtleford and 3.5 hours northeast of Melbourne via the Hume Freeway and the Great Alpine Road.
