The NSW SES Tambar Springs Unit, located at 114-116 Tamba Street, is a dedicated team of volunteers committed to assisting the local community during emergencies such as floods, storms, and tsunamis. Serving the town of Tambar Springs and surrounding areas, the unit provides essential support in various rescue operations, including road crash rescues and vertical rescues. In May 2025, they celebrated their 40th anniversary with an open day, offering practical emergency preparedness tips and fostering community engagement. The unit also actively seeks new volunteers to strengthen its capabilities and continue its vital service to the community.
