Established in 1928, the Northern Tasmanian Alpine Club (NTAC) offers a welcoming community for enthusiasts of skiing, hiking, and outdoor adventures. Operating entirely through volunteer efforts, the club provides a range of social events and workbees throughout the year, fostering connections among members. Following the loss of their previous lodge to a fire in 1995, NTAC rebuilt and now offers comfortable accommodation and facilities to members and their guests. The lodge features a large kitchen, communal areas, and drying room, ensuring a warm and inviting environment for all visitors.
