Narrapumelap Historic House

Built in 1873, Narrapumelap Historic Homestead is a remarkable French Gothic mansion located in Wickliffe, Victoria. Designed by architects Davidson and Henderson, the single-storey bluestone house features a central projecting gabled wing, turret, and tower, with bow and bay windows at the ends and a cast iron verandah. The homestead is renowned for its distinctive detailing and as a rare example of the Picturesque Gothic Revival style. Visitors can enjoy guided tours that delve into the history of the original owner, John Dixon Wyselaskie, and the house's unique architectural features. The former kitchen wing has been converted into a charming self-contained apartment, offering comfortable accommodation for 2-4 people.
