
Nestled in the foothills of Mount Elliot and the Great Dividing Range, this peaceful campground offers 70 acres of shady grounds teeming with wildlife, including wallabies and diverse bird species. The 20-acre dam provides opportunities for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Amenities include powered and unpowered sites suitable for various rigs, separate male and female toilet and shower facilities with hot water, a camp kitchen equipped with gas barbecues, filtered drinking water, and two fridges. Laundry facilities are also available. The park is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leads under owners' control. Located 45 km south of Townsville and Magnetic Island ferry terminal, and 45 km north of Ayr, it's conveniently accessible from the Bruce Highway.
