Established in 1980, Middleback CFS is a dedicated volunteer fire station located at 41 Keith Street, Whyalla, South Australia. Serving the Flinders Group within Region 4, it operates a 4WD Isuzu FTS800 Crew appliance with a 3,000-litre capacity. The station responds to emergencies in areas including Cowleds Landing, Cultana, Iron Baron, Iron Knob, Katunga Station, Nonning, and Pandurra. Training sessions are held every Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm, welcoming new members interested in contributing to community safety.
