Micket Creek is a tranquil locality situated approximately 12 kilometers east of Darwin, Northern Territory. Established on October 29, 1997, it encompasses about 28 square kilometers along the south coast of Shoal Bay. The area is renowned for the Micket Creek Shooting Complex, which has been serving the needs of local shooting organizations since its opening in 1997. Despite its proximity to Darwin, Micket Creek remains uninhabited, offering a serene environment with picturesque coastal views. The locality is governed by the Litchfield Municipality and falls within the federal division of Lingiari and the state electoral division of Nelson.
