It detects unregistered or uninsured vehicles, tracks travel times to identify fatigue-related offences, and flags speeding trucks. Additionally, it helps authorities identify drivers who avoid inspection stations. While these cameras are designed to monitor heavy vehicles, they do not currently apply to light vehicles such as cars and motorcycles.
