Manuka Oval, located in Canberra's Griffith suburb, is a premier sporting venue with a seating capacity of 13,550 and an overall capacity of 15,000. Established in the 1920s, it hosts both cricket and Australian rules football matches, including international fixtures and the annual Prime Minister's XI game. The venue features the historic Jack Fingleton Scoreboard, originally from the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The surrounding area retains original tree plantings from the 1920s, with mature cypress, poplar, oak, and elm trees defining the circular space of the sports ground.
