Lake Wuruma, located 48 kilometers north of Eidsvold, Queensland, is a serene destination offering a range of recreational activities. The area features 40 designated camping sites, each situated on flat terrain and clearly marked. Camping is free of charge, with stays limited to a maximum of three weeks within any four-week period. Facilities include sheltered picnic areas, wood barbecues, toilets, and boat ramps. The lake is stocked with fish species such as Australian Bass, Barramundi, Golden Perch, Silver Perch, and Saratoga, making it a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. Boating activities are permitted, with operators advised to stay at least 200 meters away from the dam wall. Please note that open fires are strictly prohibited, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinking water, as tap water is not suitable for consumption.
