The Koonibba Community Aboriginal Corporation, established in 2008, is a self-managed Indigenous community located in Koonibba, South Australia. The corporation operates the Koonibba Test Range, Australia's first licensed space launch facility, in partnership with Southern Launch. This facility, covering over 41,000 square kilometers, specializes in suborbital launches, enabling companies to test and validate rocket and satellite technologies. The community also opened a general store in 2019, providing residents with access to fresh groceries for the first time in over four decades.
