Kingscote CFS, located at 14 Telegraph Road, Kingscote SA 5223, is a dedicated volunteer fire station serving the Kingscote area on Kangaroo Island. As part of the Kangaroo Island Group, the station operates two primary vehicles: Kingscote 34, a 4WD general-purpose appliance with a 3,000-litre water capacity, and Kingscote 34P, a 4WD light pumper also holding 3,000 litres. The station responds to various emergencies, including structural fires, grass fires, medical assists, and vehicle accidents. Training sessions are held every second and third Tuesday at 7:00 pm, welcoming new recruits and cadets.
