Junortoun Fire Brigade, established in 1943, serves the Junortoun community with dedication and expertise. In July 2022, they inaugurated a state-of-the-art $2.5 million fire station at 25 Popes Road, replacing their previous facility. This modern station features a three-bay drive-through motor room, dedicated male and female change rooms, storage areas, modern amenities, and meeting rooms. The brigade's 40 members respond to an average of 55 incidents annually, including grass and scrub fires, road accidents, and structure fires. The new facility enhances their ability to protect lives and property in the growing community.
