Junee Community Transport

Junee Community Transport offers a subsidised, community-based, not-for-profit service operating three vehicles, including a 12-seater bus with wheelchair access. The service caters to isolated individuals, the frail aged, people with disabilities, carers, those who are vulnerable or at risk, financially disadvantaged individuals, people from culturally distinct communities, and those at risk of premature or inappropriate institutionalisation. Dedicated volunteers assist passengers with medical appointments, social visits, and shopping. For bookings, call (02) 6924 4880. The service is grateful for the support of Budget Direct, which enabled the acquisition of childcare car seats, first aid kits, and mobility assistance aids.
