The Jigalong Multi-Function Police Facility, established in 2008, serves the remote community of Jigalong in Western Australia's Pilbara region. This facility offers a permanent police presence, enhancing safety and fostering strong relationships between residents, police, and other government agencies. It features an interview room, video interview room, charge room, two holding cells, and a multi-function room adaptable for court proceedings, reducing the need for community members to travel for legal matters. Staffed by two police officers and a child protection worker, the facility operates Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
